Geomatics Scholarship Program

Objectives:
- Encourage and provide financial rewards to students that are enrolled in a postsecondary institution in the field of geomatics.
- One scholarship is targeted toward an indigenous candidate and one is targeted toward a female candidate, to be selected from eligible applicants.
Eligibility:

Eligible applicants are students in good standing, registered full time, and continuing studies in a geomatics program at a recognized University, Technical Institute or Community College in Canada.

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant.
- Applicants must demonstrate a record of scholastic achievement in order to qualify for a scholarship.
Deadline for ACLS Foundation Scholarship applications is May 31st.

Challenger Geomatics Indigenous Scholarship
This scholarship is focused on demolishing employment and education barriers for Indigenous Peoples. Our goal is to support the development of new skills and educational opportunities within the Geomatics industry. Two students will be selected based on their application to received a $3,000 scholarship to put towards their education in Geomatics.
Challenger Geomatics Yukon Scholarship
Yukon Scholarship is available to graduating students who reside in the Yukon who are interested in a career in Geomatics. There is one scholarship available worth $3,000. The awarded applicant will be given the money directly with the proof of enrollment. These scholarships are for those who have a deep desire to attend a Geomatics program in post-secondary.
Challenger Geomatics Northwest Territories Scholarship
Northwest Territories Scholarships are available to students residing in the Northwest Territories who are interested in a career in Geomatics. There are two scholarships available worth $3,000. The awarded applicant will be given the money directly once we see proof of enrollment. These scholarships are for those who have a deep desire to attend a Geomatics program in post-secondary.
Canadian Hydrographic Association Student Bursary
Available for full time Canadian or permanent residents enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program in the field of Geomatics with a hydrographic and/or a marine cartographic component, or enrolled in an International Board on Standards of Competence for Hydrographers and Nautical Cartographers (IBSC) recognized Category A or B program.
