The Association of Canada Lands Surveyors (ACLS) is committed to recognizing excellence, supporting education, and encouraging the next generation of Canada Lands Surveyors. Through our awards and scholarships, we celebrate outstanding contributions to the profession and provide financial assistance to students pursuing studies in geomatics and related disciplines.

Student Scholarships
ACLS Foundation Scholarship Program
The ACLS Foundation awards annual scholarships to students enrolled in post-secondary programs leading to a career in surveying or geomatics. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of education and encourage students to pursue rewarding careers in our field.
Eligibility:

Canadian citizens or permanent residents

Enrolled in a recognized post-secondary program related to geomatics

Demonstrated academic achievement and commitment to the profession

Awards for Professional Excellence
David Thompson Award
Presented to an individual or team for outstanding contributions to the advancement of surveying in Canada. This award honours achievements that reflect innovation, leadership, and dedication to the profession.
Tim Koepke Award
Recognizes exceptional volunteer service and commitment to the Association of Canada Lands Surveyors and the surveying community. Recipients have demonstrated leadership and made significant contributions to ACLS initiatives and activities.
